  • Do you offer personal care?
    I do not offer a personal care service. I am also unable to help with any medical care ie. administering medication, changing dressings etc as I am not CQC registered. However, for individuals who are capable of completing personal care tasks themselves, but lack confidence, I am happy to be present in case an emergency situation were to occur. I can also advise on potential solutions to aid independence in personal care tasks, and if necessary, help support you in accessing care options at home.
  • What if the help I need is not included on the list?
    Please make contact and discuss the service you require. I strive to provide a personalised service, and if I am able to help then I will.
  • How much do you charge?
    Home help services are charged at £26 per hour. Occupational Therapy Initial assessment is charged at £50 per hour. Visits usually take between 1-1.5 hours. Follow up visits, if required, are charged at £40 per hour
  • Do you have insurance?
    Yes, I have public liability insurance, and appropriate car insurance for transport/trips out, as well as an enhanced DBS certificate. Please ask to see the relevant documents if you wish.
  • How does payment work?
    Home help services can be paid for via contactless credit/debit card at the end of each visit. Alternatively, payment can be made by cash or same day BACS transfer. If additional expenses are incurred, then reimbursement must be made the same day. All receipts will be kept. ​ For occupational therapy initial assessments, payment will be required upfront to secure the booking. Payment can be made via BACS transfer, or by using the payment link provided on the invoice which will be sent via email.
  • Do you charge for mileage?
    Outside of travel to/from your home, any additional mileage (errands, trips out etc) will be charged at 45p per mile
  • What if I need to cancel or move a visit?
    There may be situations in which you may need to cancel at short notice. Please make contact as soon as possible. There will be no charge if contact is made more than 48 hours prior to the appointment. Contact made less than 48 hours in advance will incur the full cost of the the visit.
  • Can I increase the duration or frequency of visits?
    Yes. If you would like additional or longer visits, please make contact at the earliest opportunity, and I will look at capacity to add or extend visits.
